AWESOME, FABULOUS, AND SO FREE FEELING!!! :D
OMG...I went in the pool scared out of my mind and came out feeling like...WOW!!! :D It was run by the Easter Seals of this county and they had certified instructors with each of us. When I first got in and they suited me up and put the face mask on me and the mouth piece I felt a little iffy, but this person with me was sooooooo patient and waited until I felt comfortable to go under the water. There was a scary moment when I lost my mouth piece under water and they got me above water right away!!! The Director of recreation Matt put my name on his list for when I leave here, (he's a hottie by the way) for different activities throughout the year which I'll get involved in!!! Anyway, what an expirience to do something out of my wheelchair!!!!

That is a dream of mine, but I am scared of the water so I doubt I will ever try. That sounds like so much fun.

Yes it does, swimming does more for me than the meds do. I sleep so well after I swim. Especially if, rather than swimming, I jog (meaning move those legs as fast as I can for as long as I can).
I wasn't planning on going today, but now I think I will. Thanks Robin!!:D

That sounds awesome, Robin. I love the water and can just imagine how great it makes you feel. I know Chloe definitely prefers it. I think it is just so relaxing. However, I could stand scuba diving in a pool but I think I'd be too chicken to scuba dive in the ocean. :) Glad you had such a great experience!

Robin-
That sounds AWESOME!!! I'm very impressed. I tried something called "snuba" on my honeymoon in Aruba. It's a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving. I was freaking out! But, it was very fun and liberating. Defnitely bring that underwater camera next time!

Amy, that sounds cool, I bet it was fun! :)
I got an e-mail back from Matt (the hottie) ;) saying he has me on his mailing list and that he'll send some info out to me on different activities they have throughout the year. They are right in the middle of activities right now but they will start up again in January with new sessions, :)
