Unable to use smilies or colors

I am wondering why My computer will not let me enable the smilies, or other graphics, I can't post in color. If any one has any ideas, I would appriciate any help. It is not a huge deal as long as I can post, that is the main thing!

You might be using the simple editor option.

Click on UserCP link in the upper left corner

Click on "Edit Options" link on the left

Scroll down to the bottom (Misc Options)

Select the Enhanced Interface option

Click the save changes button :)
