I have applied whats next

I applied in Sept 06 and i am now waiting for a decision. Will I be called or sent other papers to fill out regarding my disability I stated in the interview. I understand I may have to go to their doctors but I wondered if I would have to do other things. Does anyone know how long it takes to get a decision in South Carolina? Thanks, Brian

I do not know if each state is different...I applied too in September, but have already heard back from them. I applied on line and then was called in to complete the application. I then was contacted a few weeks later to complete another form. My husband was also sent a form to complete as well. I was also told to see a doc for depression and then call them with his name. I was also told to report any change in medications and any doctor visits. I just sent them an update about docs I saw in the last few weeks since my medicines changed and saw a RA doc today who added two new drugs to the mix and sent me for all kinds of blood work...so I will notify them about him as well.

Was yours for SSDI? Or a state level disability..and I am unclear if you were approved?
