Bad hair day! Huge headache, thakfully I have Vicodin. Surgeon didn't have to do bypass, did a clip, coil and wrap. Angio shows it's gone.

Oh, Nancy I'm so happy to hear you're annie-free! Good, good news! I do have one question for you though if you're up to it. I was given Vicodin when I was released from the hospital....although the script says I can take up to 8 a day, I haven't. At the most I've taken 3. Are you able to take up to 8 a day? I fear I'd be a mass of nerves if i did as they make me shakey, but if it meant less of a headache, I'd take them more. I just need another script.
Thank God you're home and doing well. Please take it easy and we'll all continue to send our prayers to you.

Nancy,
Sorry I did not post to your prior to your surgery. Was a rough couple weeks I did read and had you in my prayers.
I also live alone do have my doggie Lizzie. After my procedure and surgery although I wanted to be able to do things for myself and by myself. I had to realize that it was okay to accept help when offered and to find help if needed.
People do want to help and please allow people to help you out.
Take it easy and slow don't try to rush your healing.

Nancy, I'm SO thrilled for you! Congratulations! Now take it easy and REST! Don't push yourself, as you'll only set yourself back. Let the couch be your best friend over the next couple of weeks! My wishes for a very speedy, and diminishing headache recovery!

Asked my neighbor to come over to put some cushions between box spring and matress to elevate head above heart. That's progress for me to to ask for help. I may rent a hospital bed if I need more elevation for my head. Hurts like the dickens to cough. I can take 2 vicodin every 6 hours. Also taking Keppra (anti siezure med). Neck and leg hurt from angio. Can't drive. Dr. says not to lift anything over 20 lbs.

Hi Nancy
This is brilliant news - I am so pleased for you. As others have said, take it easy and don't push yourself too hard. Make sure you eat well and rest lots.
Feels good to have it behind you I bet.

There is little else nicer than following someone like yourself Nancy and seeing that you are well enough to at least do a quick post after such a large procedure. It's stories like yours that keep me with the right attitude. Congrats on the first step of asking for a little help and please ask for more if you need it! Remember now- okay I'll lecture.... It's recovery time!! Listen close to what your body tells you and don't overdue anything. Don't rush to get better before your body is ready. Remain vigilant and go get em girl!

Congrats to you Nancy. Stay strong and please do not hesitate to ask for help. I live alone as well. Have my cat, Madison who is keeping me on the ball. Dr. put me on keppra before my clipping procedure and than chged it to dilantin. I am taking that as well as 1 aspirin a day. Pain meds stopped. I just have to learn to take it slow and when you get tired that is a message that your body is trying to tell you. Getting prepped for my 2nd annie surgery. Will keep you in my prayers...God Bless!!! Lisa
