Dear Matt's Mom, (My son has an AVM.......)

I have been thinking of you since July. How did Matt's op go?

Paul is still fine and now his hair has grown it is impossible to see he had that awful cut.

Best wishes,

Hello, pauls mother

Sorry i haven't got on here in a while...I finally checked my email and got the notice the sight was back up....

How is your son? Hope he is doing good...Has he had his surgery yet?
Matt is doing great!!! Thanks for the well wishes and everyones prayers, Matt went through his surgery really good...At first after the surgery he lost some mobility with his left leg, arm, hand and his left eye crossed...It really scared us and matt got really depressed. He didn't want to talk to anyone or eat for a few days..The Dr. put him on steriods for swelling and everything started improveing...We have our same ole matthew...He is 100%...Meaness and all..:D ...

Matts hair has grown back and you can't tell he ever had surgery...
How old is your son?
Well wishes to you and your son...

:)

I am so glad to hear that Matt is doing well after his surgery. I had been praying for him and wondering how he was. I kept checking, but the site was down, so glad it is working, you responded, and all is well

Our daughter, who is 15, also had avm surgery back in January and is doing great. You can see the scar slightly in her hairline, (they made an incision ear to ear in the front hairline), but she looks wonderful and noone would ever know.

How old is Matt; and Paul's mom how old is Paul? So happy for both of you.

Take care.

Matt is also 15 years old he had his surgery this past july...Matts scar isn't noticeable either..He was cut from over his right ear to his hairline in his forehead...a horseshoe shape...I'm glad to hear everything went well for us all...It was a really scarey thing to go through....Best wishes for all of us

Take care, Matts Mom.. :)

I wish I had found this forum when I first had my AVM. In the meantime, some fellow survivors developed another forum site located at http://www.avmsurvivors.org. You might find some additional information there.
