hello friends,
Here's my story. 12 months ago I got out of a steam room (sauna) and into a freezing cold plunge pool. After spending 8 minutes in there, I numbly climbed out and headed towards the showers. Apparently this is good for you after a workout.
Anyway, while in the shower warming back up, I felt a sudden wave of lightheadedness. I thought I was gonna pass out. Since that day i've had the feeling 24/7. My balance is fine and it seems to be more related to an area back behind my eyes. I feel a constant numbness in my head, like i've got a head cold. I sometimes feel like I have trouble focussing on things.
I've had all the major tests done, and i'm still waiting to see more nuerologists, but nobody seems to have a clue.
I sometimes get chronic anxiety about the whole thing.
Does anybody have any clues or advice?
Thanks.

Have you had an MRI yet? If not, that's the next order of biz.

Thanks Lizard,
Yep. Had an MRI, cartiod blood-flow test, sinus scan, etc etc.
Im fine living with it most of the time, but every now and then I get really anxious about it.
I think i've done myself some shock damage in the freezing water. At least it's the only thing that makes sense. I just don't know much about these things...
