ADHD and clonodine to sleep

My worst problem is to fall asleep and stay asleep,

I've tried melatonine, rhovane but scared on long term usage. I hear the clonodine does the job

hi my 9 year old son is on clonodine, he has been for 9 months and it dosent help him sleep. It does help him stay a bit calmer during the day and is helping him concentrate on his school work( a bit) .hope it helps you..

My 6 yr old does better during the day and night on clonodine.

My son takes Clonidine. It helps calm him down. He does not take it to sleep anymore but when he takes it it still makes him very drowsy. He takes Mirtaziphine for sleep aide now. The Clonidine works for many as a sleep aid. For our son, he just needed an extra boost at night due to waking up so early in the morning.

My oldest son takes clonidine. It helps him calm down before he goes to sleep. It also does help his behavior in the morning before his morning med kicks in. He is almost 15.
