Im determined for my birthday that I WILL get my seperation FINALIZED and be able to go ON with my life. :) The only thing is I feel its going to get very rough for the boys especially Adam and Noah. They already have a hard time with it.
We have been seperated for 6 yrs but he is around a lot :(. He is verbally and emotionally abusive. He has a temper and when things dont go his way he gets mad and takes it out on us.
Im trying to not make it worse by having him served HERE or cause trouble here. I try to keep things calmer here but that isnt always possible when he is around.
I had most of the paperwork filled out (for a few years) and when I went to the court and asked the person who helps look the papers over she said the forms were outdated and I had to get new ones. :eek::rolleyes:. I have learning disabilities and dont understand all the stuff so I kept putting it off. BUT I want to get it done now. So I printed off the updated ones and am determined to have the done by MONDAY. I wanted them done by tomorrow (my birthday) but I wont get them filed by tomorrow as I have to many appts (psych appt, appt to get shot at primary, neuro appt and lunch with friends btwn that). So I will fill them out btwn appts tomorrow and see about turning them in while Im in Stockton before my neurosurgeon appt Monday. :)
Keep the boys and I in your prayers. Adam is very literal and doesnt understand well. Noah is a lot like his dad. They think Im mean for doing this. :(
