Has any one here tried opium here at all ?

I'm honestly not sure what to say on the subject of opium. It is used as a medicine in stronger forms such as codeine and morphine. I know that the long term effects of opium addiction nearly ruined China historically speaking. I guess if it's used responsibly it's alright, but I'm not really sure. Then again, I won't even take codeine unless it's really necessary. Good luck with your search.

hmm. the possible addiction problems would worry me. it's why i choose cannabis over diazepam and codeine whenever i can :confused:

i tried it when i was younger but of course it wasn't for medicinal use then ... and it was a one-off occasion. i doubt i'd bother with it again.

my worry is that it'd help too much and the lure of not being in any pain/distress would overcome my natural caution of addiction. i'm already addicted to nicotine and caffeine, that's two too many for me already ;)
