Just thought you'd like to hear how Coyote is doing. The last couple of times I've called;I haven't been able to talk to her :( but I did talk to her husband.

She's not getting around well. When she's not down in bed,she has to use a walker to get around in the house.Otherwise, she uses a wheelchair.Happily she has been able to get some help with housekeeping.

Today when I called, they were just about to head out for Coyote's appt with the MDA.I'm anxious to hear about that appt! Her husband did tell me that the bone scan Coyote had a few weeks back, showed some arthritis;also that her body's vit D supply is very low. So,now that she has those results, that can be taken care of! :)

I will keep you updated! :)

I checked my email to see if there was a message from Coyote.Nope.I really wasn't surprised!Poor thing must be exhausted!!! I don't know at this point if the ASL diagnosis has been reversed.I believe that's what today's appt might have determined.

Thanks for posting this. I'm sorry Coyote's not doing well--but as you say, at least she has some household help.

Hope she'll start feeling better!

Thanks for letting us know how she's doing. My heart goes out to her! I pray that an effective treatment for her will be identified soon. Far too young for such physical devastation.

Thanks for letting us know . . . I've thought about her situation many times over the months.

Let us know what she finds out, please.

Coyote is a real reminder that MS is not the worst thing that could happen. Her situation, unfortunately, puts things in perspective.

Please keep letting us know how she is doing.

Coyote said the Dr was still talking about ALS;but after examination he didn't seem so sure! :) She hasn't progressed, and while she wasn't specific, she did say the Dr commented that there were "things that don't go with ALS". He ordered a metals test.Coyote said she doesn't have any reflexes in her feet.
