You can see the image of the other article that appeared in 1990. Oh, Oh. We weren't supposed to do that.

In fact that article appeared two days before we had the yearly review. When we arrived at the Department's office and saw the person, he had the newspaper in front of him and said that the head of the Department would also have the newspaper in front of him!. We were ticked off good and proper.

I'm just curious (maybe I missed where you posted it) but, why are you now able to post Grant's name and picture, when for so many years you could not? I'm assuming it has something to do with his age, being 18 and now an adult, but I don't understand the legalities of the foster care system here in the US, let alone over there in Australia.

You are right. Now that Grant is 18, his identity does not have to be kept secret. We will be applying for guardianship, so he will no longer be a foster child/adult.
