I'm 44 yr lesbian, mom to two sons both of whom are in their 20's now, a nurse by profession (LPN) but not working at the moment due to complications related to a left parietooccipital arteriovenous malformation. Since this board doesn't seem to be very active and I can't find an AVM discussion thread, I guess I'll probably try posting in the epilepsy and/or rare medical conditions forums. Maybe in the Social Security forum since that's a big part of my reality at the moment.

Hello Jesse and welcome. I just moved from Pacific county, back to South Dakota. My wife and son did not like where we were living and the climate got to them...too much rain etc.
I don't fit into a specific group here either. I have Cadasil, an orphan disease, so I just posted a thread titled "leukodystrophy" to draw in others (Cadasil is one in the the class of leuko diseases), and you might want to do that too, at least you'll let others know you are here.
