Problem with wireless connection

I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop, when trying to connect to a wirless internet with Intel Pro/wireless 2915ABG, it says it has encountered a problem with Intel Framework MFC application & needs to close. It wants to send a report to Microsoft, but I cant send it, since I cant get online. I tried reinstalling the driver, but fails after halfway thru. I see no conflicts & in Device manager, it says its working properly. Im at wits ends, any ideas?

You might want to try and let Windows manage the card rather than the Intel software which is giving you the error message.

I believe you can right click on the Intel Wireless icon on your taskbar and select "Use Microsoft Client". Or within the Intel utility itself, there is an option to "Allow Windows to manage this adapter".

See if that works for you.
