Hi all ~ Just wondered what happened to this forum? It used to be so active! Granted, I didn't post for a long time, but my computer "blew" so I was off-line for a good while. But I just got back on since my dear daughter bought me a new laptop for my birthday!
Anyway, I hope others will chime in as I know our problem hasn't healed up. I still have an alcoholic son in the house, although he WILL be leaving very soon!!! THANK GOD. He's been here for over a year and had no other place to go and has been upsetting the household the whole time, even tho the promise (ha-ha) that he made to me when he came was that he would NOT drink. I'm such a stinking sucker, and feel so stupid for believing him again.
Last May, his father died, and unbeknownst even to his FATHER, his dad had life insurance thru where he worked, so my son will get a tidy sum of money which will enable him to move OUT. Thank you LORD.
