Hi - I saw my Dr. today and asked about lifting restrictions. I thought that eventually I would be able to lift more than a gallon of milk. The lifting restriction is forever. I also asked about fatigue. When will it get better? It has been a little over one year since rupture. I wish there was a guide book for life with aneurysms!

Take care. Stacy

Thanks Stacy for posting this info, as you know from my post this is a question I needed answering too ~(thanks also for your reply to my post). At least we now have some answers and yes I agree with you on the need for some info on living with aneurysms. What did the neuro say about the fatigue?

regards

pam from england

Hello.. Pam - yesterday's visit was with my primary care physician. She was able to answer my question about lifting, but asked me to contact my neurologist regarding fatigue. I have spoken to him about fatigue in the past and he said it was normal. I will talk to him again. Stacy

Hi Stacy,
I've never heard that there was lifting restrictions forever. Sorry, I must have missed your post were you clipped or coiled? I'm five years out from my rupture and I still fight with the fatigue. My doctor is just now trying meds to help with the fatigue that is common after rupture. take care

Hi Dawn - I was coiled in June 2005, additional coils were added in August 2005. Take care. Stacy
