Hi,

For the past 7 years or so I have suffered from a range of skin problems. To list a few; Urticaria (both heat and contact hives), Vasculitis (seems to only effect my small blood vessels), Raynaud's syndrome, cold hands and feet and lastly mild acne.

I have had blood work done in the past, and everything came back normal, but I know something cannot be right.

Any thoughts?

Hi,
This does not seem to be a busy thread, so I will try to help you with my experiences.

I see a DR who is a hematologist/oncologist/immunologist. After years of doctors scratching there heads, one ear throat and nose doc told me he knew just who to send me to. If you can find an immunologist, find one. Not a dermatologist because none of my allergies will show up in a scratch test. It sounds like you get contact dermatitis which is an allergy, and mild acne can be cause by stress, hormones, even dry skin and the sun.

There could be many, many factors that would contribute to your problem. I f you give a bit more of your your over all health problems posted, it might help.
For a butterfly rash is often a sign of Lupus. If the rash erupts after exposure to sun or fluorescent light, that is also a sign. Lanolin, and many hair products give me contact dermatitis as well as many plants.

I hoped I helped you a bit.

best wishes,
