Anything special in your closet/dresser? (items/quantity)
2 recent posts in the Chit-Chat...
"It Happened In..." and "Are you guilty?..."
made me think it would be interesting, and fun, to see... :D what people have hidden... in their closet/dresser, in terms of special items, or special quantity of something... and someone here does not have to reveal everything... :D

for example, I'm a fan of silk shirts: I have approx. 40-45 long-sleeves ones, 20-25 short-sleeves ones, 20-25 sleeveless ones, 20-25 camisoles... of different colors, patterns... I am quite bohemian and artistic... colors and textures are very important to me :D ...my ownn style... for comfort... for pleasure... to go along with my mood... or to create a different mood... (inventory not up-to-date... almost everything packed... moving June 1st) :D

Time for a café au lait (de riz) ! Cheers !!! *coffee

I really don't have allot of clothes. About 5 pair of pants and 10 long sleeve shirts & sweaters, combined. I have more short sleeve. Most are T-shirts of some type.
I think I 'learned' from childhood that I don't need much & should look for bargains in clothes. But I guess thats kinda good?? My clothes are nice though. (Just a semi plain pullover shirt instead of some elaborate one.)
Maybe raise your kids by letting them know they don't NEED allot of 'super great' clothes to live. My DH lets our DD have about anything...the other day she got a $40 very short jeans skirt (it just covers her (_I_) so she wears shorts with it.) I bet when she is on her own she will often just about have an empty checkbook.???

Hi!
OK...so this is were we can tell things that no one else knows? I quit smoking when I had my stroke. A 1/2 pack a day habit. :( Between the hospital and rehab I was gone for 6 weeks, so it was cold turkey.

I have a secret box in my draw.....just in case. It makes me feel secure knowing a few cigarettes are stashed. :o

My family would murder me.

I dont have a lot of clothes, but the ones I do have are very nice. I shop at a store that receives closeouts from major department stores like Macy's, Von Maur, Sax etc. I actually bought a geat pair of TH jeans for 8 bucks, I also like the Goodwill and garage sales. My most prized things are my special Hippo collection my kids, friend and family have given me. I also have my special collections of the State proof sets of quarters as they come out, for my grandkids. Oh, and my special sea shells and sea glass and rocks from my special beaches. I also have a piece of an Alaskan Glacier. I got it when my Aunt and I went on a cruise to AK and flew in a hellicopter to the top of the glacier. We were allowed to take small pieces that were lose.

My most precious memories live in my closet safe and sound, until I find the perfect place to put them. They come from nature, the most precious thing on earth.

Hi Kathy,

My most precious memories live in my closet safe and sound, until I find the perfect place to put them. They come from nature, the most precious thing on earth. Kathy
I feel touched into the deepest part of my heart by what you just wrote... on that special day, Earth Day, April 22...
