Hello, This is my first time ever doing this, and I'm here for my husband. About a month ago my husband "B" had an eye twitch that lasted 3 days then he had a bad dizzy spell. Now for the past 3-4 weeks he's been have shooting pains up and down his left side of his body. He can hardly sleep or function sometimes. We've been to doctors and they are stumped we are trying to get in touch with a neurologist to find out anything. If someone reads this and can help me find the answers, or a path to help him. I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerly, Dytari

Hello Dytari and welcome to BrainTalk :)

Although I can't assist you with the answers you seek, I can say that there are folks here that will speak up when they see this thread.

Dytari,

Try moving your post to the General Neurology forum where it will have a better chance of being seen. the neurologist follow up is the right idea. I would also say that if your husband develops any more problems that he should be seen right away, even if that means going to the ER...this may also help in getting you into a neurologist quicker.

Hi,

Also check out the Peripheral Neuropathy (http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=219) or Vitamin Deficiency (http://brain.hastypastry.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=70)boards and read the posts about B12 deficiency among others.

Stick around...the answers come quicker when you involve yourself in the search, and there are many here who can help you with that. These symptoms can be very disturbing, but sometimes there are relatively simple answers. I found answers here on this board~ you have found a good place.

Good luck!
