:( Our beloved friend, Toad, had a heart catheterization this morning. (He has been having unexplained chest pains) He was supposed to go home tonight, but the doctor's want him to stay overnight to discuss possible surgery in the morning. the Toad (jimmie turner) will go back in a week+for further arrangements. He definitely will have heart bypass surgery soon after the visit.

Anyone have words of wisdom or comfort?? I think he has had about 22 surgeries (and he's only early 50's).


Two or three of his surgeries were DBS. You have my attenion and prayers!

Dear Friends, Family, & Debtors:

I went in 6”30amWed, Nov 1st, for my heart catheter, & they found 3 blockages, 2 with a 90% blockage. They scheduled me for a heart bypass, for Thurs morning.

However, it’s archery deer season, here in Arkansas, until Nov 11th, when modern gun, deer season opens.

So, I checked out of the hospital Wed evening, about 6:30pm, just in time for church at 7.

I’ll be at the Dr’s office on Mon, Nov 13th, to set an appt for the surgery, ASAP. That’ll give me this weekend & next, to hunt with my boys. The DR said no gun shooting for at least 6wks AFTER the surgery.

Between Polio, PD, & Heart Disease, I don’t figure I’ve many “opening weekends” left. I’ve not missed it for many years, & I’d bet my life, I’ll not miss this one, either.

Thanks for the posts, emails, IM’s, phone calls, & prayers.
