Cancelling Dr Appt today

Well one again I have to Cancel. It was to be at 2 pm. Will try and call to get refills done. But I will go to PM Dr Thursday. Can my reg dr give me a shot in my neck and back? or do I have to ask PM? My pain is so bad I can't walk, sit, lay this morning from my low back pain.

I seriously doubt your GP would do any spinal injections IF that is what you are speaking of. And you definitely wouldn't want any spinal injections without fluoroscopy anyway. Trigger points or injections into the muscle alone; not sure about. I just don't have my GP do any injections with the exception of tennis elbow I had one time. I would talk to your PM more about it on Thursday and see what he can do. I am sorry your pain level is so high. :(

Boy, it sucks to be you. Why did you have to cancel? As the previous posters said, maybe the PM can better serve you. If you don't mind my asking, what meds do you get from your regular Doc? It's OK if you want to tell me to mind my own business. I'm a big boy. I can take it.

Well Mom came over I looked so bad she took me. He has giving me Trigger points shots before. But I told him I was going in a few days to see PM. I am sick on top off it all. that black mold got to me. High fever he said It turned into Bronchitis . He gave me a toradol & nubain shot. he said that would help my head and the aces from this crap.
Pete I don't mine telling you what I am on. From Reg Dr I am on clonazepam /benicar promethzine/ clonidine (when bp way to high )nadolol/ vin D new ones aldactone /xanax I asked for that one.OH and levaquin for a week. PM I am on methadone /blaclofen /percoet/ lidoderm patches VB12
I am up here a 3:30 AM the back pain is so bad it is like a paralyzing pain. But it seems after I get up after a little bit it will ease up. It only happens at night from 3AM on. So there was no use of me suffer any longer. So up I got. It takes me a few to do so but I get there. And walking is so bad. But after I get in my chair the pain will ease. My chair is a lumbar chair. it is old Greg tried to buy me a new one but I like my chair. I will recover it maybe. If any one could tell me why I get this paralyzing pain at night please let me know.

Pete it does sucks. But for some reason who knows that is my life. If it is going to happen it will to me. I have even lost my home to a flood in 1999. Water was up for 2 weeks here. rebuilt and moved back in in 2001. Just waitting for the next one. To live a normal life I wouldn't know what that would be. As long as I can remember I have been accident pron.

Good morning again. Round 6:30 I went back to bed and got back up at 10:00. I didn't get that bad pain. Maybe that is what I am going to have to do is sleep when I can and not stright though. But when I did get up at 3:30 I took some BT meds and a BC (for you all it is a southern thing. Take a BC powder and come back strong). And went back to bed at around 6:30 and the pain has eased up a pit to where I can move now.

Deb, sorry you are feeling so bad but it is good your mother got you to the doctor. I used to wake up in the night with really bad pain and I finally quit sleeping in bed. It was the sleeping position that was causing me so much pain.
I agree with you that sleeping when you can instead of trying to sleep for so long may help you not get such high pain levels. I hope the bronchitis is getting better and you are feeling better.

BC is like a powdered Excedrin, usually mixed with water or juice. It works faster because it doesn't have to break down in the gut. I haven't seen it here, however it is big in the south. I think you could order it online if you wanted.

Well I seem to be holding right now. the meds are working better. I have had 3 really good nights of sleep fever and all what can I say. I thought about my lidoderm patch's and put them on to see if that would help. first night I sleep off and on but my back didn't hurt like it was. My fever had broken so had to put new nightie on.back to bed today is Tuesday morning and I woke up again no paralyzing pain though the night.
It must be a nerve that is causing this pain. I am so happy. I have been working on the bathroom. I had to stop last week cause I was so very sick from either the black mold or flu. All I know I thought I was going to die. But I didn't. I worked yesterday in there and got it clean clean clean. Hubby is so lazy about doing any work around here. One reason he know I will get it done. I do not know how 1 person can do so much mess is beyond me. today is the porch. I may need some help with that. moving some big things.

I don't post very often, but I read most every day. There are some people that I follow closer than others, for a variety of reasons. You are one of those I try to read ALL of your posts because I care and I worry so much about you.

Having been in more than one abusive relationship, I can understand you so well. Please stop trying to be 'superwoman'. It won't help. And.....you are killing yourself trying to be the perfect wife, mother, daughter......with poor results. Please take some time and wander over to the Domestic Abuse forum. It's not very active, but there is lots of great information and a good place for you to ask questions and get advice. There is a lady there, Kashsis (forgot to go look for correct name before writing this). She is always there to listen and help in any way she can. You are definately the typical abused wife. If only I work hard enough, be good enough, ad nauseum......all will be better.

No, it won't. The only thing that will continue is your declining health. Please stop doing so much physical work, if you can't do anything else, at least know your physical limits and stick within those limits.

I'm sorry but it's really hard to see you work yourself into 10+ pain levels, rest a bit and go back and do it over and over and over.

You are loved here and we all want you to get well. You have to start somewhere and living within your physical limits is a good start.

I'm glad you have a plan for the future, but you still have NOW to deal with. Please don't kill yourself first.
