Future Horizon Founder's son Alex Gilpin dies :(

I am stunned and saddened over this! :( I just went to the site to see about registering for the conference in July and found a note about a memorial service for Alex. :( He apparently died March 30, though there was no information on why. WOW, OMG! That is terrible. No parent should ever have to outlive their child. My prayers are with the family

Yes I was very very sadden by this news. I had the privialge of hearing Alex and a group of 4 other young adults with autism/aspgergers speak back in 06.. I went to a Autism conference in Kansas City MO and heard Temple Grandin and others speak. and I was very very impressed with the question and answer time with the young adult panel. Alex was so very impressive and awsome young man. I was given hope on what all he had overcame with his autism.

My condolences goes out to the family and the auitsm community.. :(
