For My Dear Mother

who I lost 6 years ago today. I know she's in heaven and no longer has the pain, but I still miss her soooo much!! My father died when I was very young and once my mother passed away I took care of my brother and sister. Now they're all grown up with families of their own and I feel so alone, even though I have my own teenagers with me. She was taken at age 57 and it was very unexpected. Losing my father was hard, but losing my mother took a piece of me with her. Does that make any sense to anyone?:confused:

Hi Lisa, Yes it does make sense. When I lost my Mother I felt like I had lost the best friend I had in the whole world.

I know you miss her but time does help to heal. It's been 15 years for me. I still miss both my parents too.

Just wanted you to know someone does know how you are hurting.

yes, this makes sense sweetie. I lost my mama six years ago as well. She was 58 and my best friend. I still have days where I want to pick up the phone and call her and then realize I can't :( I wish you well and remember, you are not alone!!!! Many hugs and much prayer.

Losses like this are just the saddest. I hope you'll find comfort and feel better the soonest.
