You have to get through about 5-10 minutes of other talk to get to the interview. http://www.healthybynatureshow.com/archive/2006.shtml
I didn't know Dr. Hoggan edits the Scott Free newsletter.
Finished listening. It is an hour interview but lots of commercials. I could figure out how to skip those.
He mentioned Dr. Ford, Dr. Fine and even pronounces Dr. H's name  Talked about the connection between the brain and gluten. Mentioned schizophrenia.
Anne
Thanks Anne. I'll listen tomorrow!

I wrote him to thank him. He said there may be another interview. What he needs is an interview on the Oprah Show. ;)

Oh I wish we didn't still have Dial-Up service on our geriatric computer...dang. But I propose that we ALL visit Oprah's website and request a show on this. Once it's on Oprah, there will be no looking back :)

P.S. Is it ha-dja-va-SIL-ee-you (Hadjivassiliou)??? Inquiring minds want to know...

I will have to practice saying his name as I am sure that he will want to talk with me at the International Celiac Conference. ;)

Here is Ron Hoggan's Master's Thesis, which I found on the Paleo Diet website: http://gluten-free.org/hoggan/adhd.txt He was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1994, and lost his brother to celiac-related health problems in 1996. I emailed him a couple of years ago when my son was so sick, and he graciously corresponded with me, offering very helpful advice - what a guy!!!! :D

I'm sure he will be looking for you, Anne ;). And when he finds you, could you please tell him I say hi :p.
I say ha dji vas i lou in my head, but I can't tell you how embarrasing it is to be corrected for my mispronunciations. It is the risk you take when self educating...lol.
I agree, Anne and Linda, your mission is to find out how Dr. H pronounces his name. What a hoot if they introduced him as "DR. H". You have to find a way into hearing him speak. It isn't like anyone stands at the door checking ID's, do they? Just waltz in! Seriously. If you get tossed in jail, call me for bail!

Dr. H is speaking to both groups so I will be hearing him. I hope there is a way to sneak into the medical symposium - there are a few talks I would like to hear. Yes, I have been to conventions where badges are checked before they let you in.
Anne

Anne, Please ask Dr. H why there isn't more research done on the DQ1 genes and it's link to gluten sensitivity. It drives me crazy that we don't have more published information on this topic!
Claire
Oh, I didn't know he was speaking to both groups! Was that always on the book?? Seriously, if you get a chance, it would be great if one of you ask about the DQ1 gene for us!
Anne, I laughed so hard when you posted in the guys only thread! Um... don't ask me how I know that :o.

That was the only way I could corner Dr. H and ask about Dq1. ;)
