RIP CaliforniaDana

It is my sad duty to inform you that a beloved member of our community, CaliforniaDana, passed away last night after her long struggle with Peripheral Neurapathy. Dana has been a member here for many years, and has no doubt left an imprint on the hearts of the people that she knew. I knew Dana personally, and she talked fondly of this place and of everyone here. i know that my thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones, and I'm sure yours are too.

EZ. thank you for letting us know about the death of Dana. I had sent you a couple of emails, I guess didn't get to you. We were trying to find out how Dana was doing.
We missed her so much.
A member of the chat room had helped Dana a lot and she gave this person her name and address. They sent her and her family a Christmas card, and never heard anything from them.
We are all deeply saddened by the death of Dana and she will be missed so much.
Please let her family, Eden and Terry know how sad we are and how much we miss her.

CaliforniaDana was a friend to all whether her opinion was the same or different than yours. She truly understood what respect and fairness is all about. I'm not exactly sure which Forum CD came to my rescue when I first started on B/T. I think it was either the wonderful Obesity Forum where it was me against the world in regard to WLS and our favorite "Gastric Bypass Surgery," where I usually held my own but many times "I was treated like a red headed step child. I remember chatting with CD as she always had an open heart and be there for others with perfect timing.

CD, the old expression was drafted because of those just like you. "YOU MUST BE A FRIEND TO HAVE A FRIEND." G-d Bless...

thanks for posting and letting us know About Dana's Passing.. I am so sorry to hear it..

I use to always Chat with Dana she was so funny and cared about everyone and so much fun to chat with... she had a heart of gold..

I always enjoyed our chats as i am sure many did as well with Dana..

I am so glad she is no longer in the tremendous amount of pain that she was in all the time.

Even though she was in pain like that she was always ready to be supportive to anyone needing her .. She was such a wonderful person .. I feel privileged to have known her .. she touched us all...

My heart goes out to Eden and Terry.. and all of her many friends here and back home.

I'm just seeing this notice today. It's ironic because today I was talking to my dh about Dana. She was always asked about Jac everytime I saw her, and always made sure to say she was praying for us. We've missed her in chat for a long time already, but it's so sad to hear of her passing.
