Sandra, thanks for coming here and letting us know that his surgery went so well. I am hoping and praying that his recovery goes as well as so many people I know have had wonderful success with their new hips. Yes, us men don't listen the best but continue to be supportive and encourage his progress. I have seen such a difference in his postings since he met you and I know how much he counts on you. Thank you for bringing hope back into his life and I am wishing he has a great recovery.

I'm glad this is behind you now and you can begin to heal and enjoy a new life with less pain. You have a great support system with Sandra.
My sister had a hip replacement complete redo and is a happy camper. She has NO pain in that hip now. Her first hip replacement never offered her the pain relief she has now after the redo. Hope you have the same results.
Sandra, just wanted to say HI and you sound like such a very special lady! Take care of BOTH of you!

Dave I am so glad you are doing so well, that Sandra is a wonder and I hope she is going to get well soon too. You will recover faster at home I think. A lot more comfortable and less exposure to other nasties that like to hang around at the hospitals. Get lots of rest and we'll be here for you when you are good and ready for us.

Sandra, I can tell you how helpful it is to have a partner that cares for you and takes care of you following surgery and during recovery; you are a wonderful blessing for Dave. You have made a big difference in Dave's life just from the words he post here on the forum.

Sandra,
Dave is so lucky to have someone like you in his corner. I know you have medical issues as well, so make sure you take care of yourself also. It seems to me Dave had said you are a nurse, I hope I got that right.
My thoughts and prayers are with you both,
Kathy

Dave,
Sorry for being a bit late replying but I am glad you are now home and recovering. I agree with that you just can't get comfortable in the hospital. With all the people, noise, needle sticks, IVs, Tubes and an unfamiliar and sometimes uncomfortable bed. Your recovery really doesn't being until you are home.
I hope that your new hip will bring you many pain free years and you and Sandra can enjoy what new found freedom that brings.

Hi Dave, I haven't been here in a while. Just wanted to say hi and that spring is here though at the rate it is progressing you'll be able to run the 1 minute mile by the time it is nice enough for the flowers to actually peek out their heads and the grass to turn green. I hope things are still going well and that you guys are doing good.
Have a great weekend.
