I took them together last night, and have no recollection of getting up with Katie last night and could not wake up this morning...but at least I wasn't hurting anymore. :(

Female question here..........

So last night my uterus contracted. I don't mean cramped. I used to have BAD menstrual cramps, and I've never had anything like this. It was tight and hard and hurt just as bad as contractions, even worse, it didn't give me any reprieve at all. It locked tight and didn't let up. I couldn't walk or stand up straight. If I had insurance, I would have probably went to the ER. I laid in bed about 30 minutes shaking. The tylenol was in the kitchen and I didn't want to risk waking Kate so I took the PM that was in the bedroom, and wanted to make dang sure I got knocked out so I took the Ambien.

It was definitely my uterus. It wasn't bowels, kidneys, bladder, or even ovaries. It really felt like I was in labor. Now this morning I woke up with my tummy very sore and it's still sore tonight.

The only thing I could think of was a miscarriage.. But I have had no bleeding and honestly.. I took a pregnancy test last week :o Needed to know if I was going to have to hang myself!! :o A couple weeks ago I was getting nighttime morning sickness, but the test was negative. Thank God!

Has anyone else had this happen? Contractions when you're not pregnant?

I did and it was fibroids. The end result was an emergency hyterectomy last year.

Be careful with the Ambien, and definitely don't take it with any other sedatives.

My mom takes it and on several occasions I've called her after 10:00 only to find her calling me the next day after seeing my number on her cell phone. She has no recollection of the calls. I told my stepdad to take her car keys when she's on that stuff.

No help with the contractions, sorry.

HUSH!!! Heather. DON'T SAY THAT!!!!

My mom had it so bad her ovaries grew into her uterus and she had to have a hysterectomy in her 30's. :( :( :(

Jenn, I only take it when it is necessary, when Mike is home with me, and I'm on a low dose. I have 7 pills left and it's the same bottle that I got just after I had Katie over a year ago. The first night I took it, I walked into a wall!

I have not had this happen, but have known it to friends. . . almost same as Heather. . . fibroids leading to a not so great outcome.

Get checked please.

what about ectopic pregnancy? the hormone levels could be lower than they should be and therefore not get picked up by a urine pregnancy test? i generally like to rule out the life threatening stuff first-lol. if it comes back i'd get an ultrasound.

Eptopic Preg... Hmmmm, if it was that, wouldn't the test show positive? Unless you took the test too soon.

I agree with the if it returns you need to get it checked out. You can bleed to death when it bursts.

Frankly, I would rather have a fibroid than an EP.

And it might just be your bod recycling itself since you are weaning off the milk.

If you have more pain, please get it checked.

I haven't gotten one yet. :p Jake is sick and I can't handle both kids in the pharmacy. I'll get one tomorrow. :D But I'm pretty sure it'll be negative. You have to actually ... {you know}... to get pregnant, right???!!! :D Yeh, I'm pretty sure it's negative! :p :p :p
