Hello to all Iam new here. So Ill give some of my background info.
I use to hand sew ties, Tried to do 6 dozen a day. In June 1st 2005 I went out with CTS. On July 28th had surgery, Well after the surgery it was worse. I couldnt put any pressure on my wrist. Alot of pain. After PT,and other Drs I was released with 25 % perm parcial dissability.
WC has never been a problem for me. But the whole year I was under a Dr. care, I had a light duty with no repetitive work slip, My work always said nothing was available. Until 2 mo after I was released from the Dr. Now they are trying to get me back in to do Janitoial work. And I cant even clean my own house let alone a factory. I do have an Attorney, We both think they are doing this to get me back in and then fire me. As no one has held this job for way over a year. It has been available the hole time I have been out.
Also anyone who has held this job has quit, as they couldnt do it good enough in the eyes of the boss.
Now my left hand will probably need surgery, Dr said direct result of right hand.As I have to use it more than normal.
Iam just wondering if anyone has gone through anything like this, And if so what did you do? Sorry for this being so long, But now Iam getting worried about them trying to take everything from me. I have lost to much already.
Any input would be greatly appreceated. Jackie

Jackie:

Sorry nothing to add here but at least you have found this site, you will find alot of vauable info here and a great place to vent. I find that Chapter 11 is coming closer and closer to our life everyday also, we haven't even been receiving WC checks and my hubby's has been off for over 14 weeks.

Good luck!

sorry to hear another workmans comp story that goes bad to worse (seems like it is the ONLY way workmans comp works...lol) but hang in there Jackie.....i am also going through the system and it is enough to drive anyone to madness!!!! i think that is how the insurance companies want it anyway, that way you give up before they have to fork out a bunch of money to fix you. i've been at for a year now and only have had one botched cts surgery done (rt hand, open-release) and have had nothing but trouble with it since. am finally schedualed to have my cUts surgery on the 27 of Nov. so we'll see if that goes as well! good luck and hope you have a good lawyer...if not, get one ASAP!!! i can't stress that enough.
