I think I aged 10 years from the drive. It was just Rachel and I, and it took about 7 hours to get home. The roads got worse and worse the closer we got to home, but we made it safe and sound. The appointment was very, very long, it went from 10:30-4:30 with only one 20 minute break for lunch. They wanted to do all the tests right away so we wouldn't have to make the trip again.

We don't have any definite results yet but the Doctor's gut feeling is that she has a retinal dystrophy, which is good news because that means it shouldn't get any worse. The nystagmus is a mix of INS (infantile nystagmus syndrome, in other words congenital) and something else. He will tell us more about that when he sends the full report.

I have a possible seizure question I am going to post seperately.

glad you got some answers while you were there and that you could get all the tests done in one visit.
