Hi, I'm new to being diagnosed schizoaffective

Hello. Just wondering what others experience. I was diagnosed w/ bipolar w/ psychotic features for the las seven yrs. Just wondering if my doctor made the right diagnosis. Do any of you have additional conditions? I also have OCD, panic/anxiety, and borderline personality, which I've fortunately statrted to out grow a bit over the last few years. Please reply...:confused:

HI heavensent, I'm glad you wrote in. I'm schizoaffective also. I have other problems too as I deal with depression too on a daily basis. I also have deep anxiety, especially when I have to leave the house. I have heard that others have been diagnosed with Bipolar first until after more observation. They thought I was bipolar at the very first, yet I had no mania. It wasn't untill I found a pamphlet on schizoaffective did they change my diagnosis. It took seven months of deep depression and psychosis before I got the right treatment. I hope you have the right diagnosis and can fiind the right treatment for you. Please write anytime you need to, I check this forum quite a bit.
