I've never run for political office (OK, I was secretary in some high school service club - but no one else ran:)) ... I don't return my union's ballot ... ("bad girl").
But (thank you Internet) I've compared and contrasted the various choices Out There for our next president. This is NOT a political statement, but rather access to information (either actually answered by the candidates themselves, or found on their websites) re: disabilities/health.
You'll find a detailed comparison of the 4 (still in the race) contenders' "health plan" ... a VERY detailed "answer the questions" re: broad spectrum of disability issues ... there's alot there. I hope that these websites (none by Clinton, Huckabee, McCain or Obama - listed in ABC order here, to avoid being prejudicial:):)) will help you see what issues are being discussed, and how they are answered ...
Here is some information that may be helpful to people.
This is a brief outline of candidate positions on topics that has been created from multiple sources:

This is a very detailed Q&A provided by candidates on disability topics. Notice no Republicans responded...

This is a very simple article I did for the magazine I edit that goes through basic positions as presented on candidate websites.

Hope that helps people!
