spybot download ? Mike ?

Probably something simple but not real good with computers.
I tryed to download the spybot free download and when done it went offline. Now when I try to finish the download it tells me no network connection but I am online when it is telling me this? So dones anyone know(MIKE?) what I need to do to finish this?
Thanks so much for any information. I am sure it is something simple. Oh and I use AOL which could be the problem.

First, if you weren't at "safer-networking.org" then you were at a copy cat site that doesn't have a trusted real spybot download.

Secondly if you were at the right place, did you complete the download?

Did you install it yet?

If you answered no to either question, click the link below and download it again. I recommend downloading from one of the two "hosted by safer-networking" buttons.

yes I was at that same link you gave me. I got it from another post here where you recommended it and said it worked with your AGV. I did get the downloand done but when I go to install it is when it keeps telling me cannot find internet connection.I I am on the internet and have tryed it both ways):confused: Maybe I will just try downloading and installing again. I have AOL and wonder if that is the problem also.:(

Since we're not supposed to say anything if we can't say anything nice.... at least AOL hasn't gone bankrupt yet :eek:

Do you have a firewall? If you do, than most likely that's what is blocking spybot from connecting to the internet.

IF you do have a firewall, which one do you have?
