Hi, at 10 weeks old my son was exposed to CJD via surgical instruments. He had a tethered spinal cord and 9 dissectors and 1 forceps were traced back to the CJD confirmed patient. I have now found out her surgery was a POSTERIOR FOSSA CRANIECTOMY AND WHICH C1 AND C2 VERTEBRAE WERE FUSED TO EACH OTHER AND TO THE BASE OF THE SKULL. My question is:
Would any of that procedure have beem Intradural? I have been told that there was CSF transfer but not told how. So .. would her Dura or another high infectivity tissue been in contact with the dissectors?
