Okay, by now, everybody knows that we are supposed to turn our
clocks back 1 hour tonight. I don't have to change the time on the
computers, because they do that automatically.

What I don't understand is why it doesn't do that until 7:00AM!

It doesn't matter if it's Daylight Savings time or standard time, the PC
and the Mac don't change the time until 7:00AM. For example, I'm
typing this message at 11:52, but the time on the computer is 12:52.

Is this normal for computers? Like I said, the Mac is the same way.

Just curious...

My computer changed the time back at the "proper" time.

I just don't like the whole DST crap in the first place.

I thought 2 a.m. was the 'proper time', to set the clocks back to 1 a.m.?
The digital alarms have to roll all the way forward thru p.m. to a.m., 12 hours, and I always 'miss' the set and have to do it over again. :(

My ? is when we do this next year for time change, the computers will be off, due to Congress changing the DST dates. Will there be an update or do we have to shut off the automatic time change in our windows settings, and change it ourselves?

Say what? When and what are then changing DST to pennzoil? This is the first I have heard about it...

Mine changed it @ 1am!!

I like the box that comes up and tells you the clock has been adjusted and to make sure its right......

Next year though you wont be able to let your computer AUTO UPDATE the clock because it will be 2 weeks earlier!!! (Make sure you uncheck the box that says "AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST CLOCK FOR DAYLIGHT SAVING CHANGES" before February!!

My Browser auto sets the time anyway,so........
