My name is crystal and my 2 yr old son, Tanner, started having "episodes" around Februray of last year. At first we thought that it was associated with his stomach issues (suffered from severe constipation for a few weeks prior), then the stomach issues resolved and I put it down to Night Terrors as my daughter had them. We went a few months without a single episode then the started up again in January. And it hit me...These were not NTs, IMO they are seizures. In the last 24 days my son has had 4 of these episodes. Luckily his ped. is not just brushing off our concern and we already have an appt with his Ped. Card for testing for Long QT syndrome. Once that is ruled out his ped is going to set us up with a sleep-deprived Video-EEG.

We're on, what I've been told, is a long journey to finding out what is going on.

Hi Crystal,

Welcome to BT, I am sorry no one has directed you where to find help. There are alot of mom's with similar concerns. There is a seizure disorder forum. If you haven't found it already. If you look around the different forums you may also find other possible answers or things to talk with your pediatrician with.
Again I am so sorry no one has answered. I am semi new here myself and have started recently started checking on the new comers. Please feel free to pm me if you need additional help. I will be happy to help anyway I can,

Take care,
Kathy
