Hi my name is Erika and I am the proud mommy of 6 beautiful kids. We have a 6 y/o dd with mild cp and a 2 y/o ds with a long liist of issues. He has external hydro,mild cp,pvl,macrocephly,seizures and suffers from extreme joint pain in his legs and sleep problams. We are waiting on some genetic testing and will hopfully have a name to all his ailments soon. Its been a long tiring road (as I am sure most of you know) I am hoping to connect with other families that have children that suffer from some of these issues also.

I have always had hydro, epi, and hypoglycemia and recently got dxs of hypothyroid and severe D deficiency. If your little guy hasn't been tested for D def, get it right away, especially if you're in the northern part of the country and/or he's been on sz med for any length of time, as they can both suck your D out of you and lead to a lot of joint/bone pain and stiffness. (Come join us on Child Neuro and Hydro, too! :) )
