:) Hello All ~ You may not know me, but this is Lee from WAY back. I wasn't able to use my "name" here cause it wouldn't take it for some reason. This place has been "messing" with me for months. LOL. But at least I got back here, huh?
I hope people start coming back cause we ALL need one another. Once an addict/alcoholic, ALWAYS an addict/alcoholic. I'm cross addicted. I was addicted to Xanax and booze. My "drug" of choice tho was booze, and I drank for over 20+ years and HEAVILY!! I now have over 13 years sober, but I'm STILL only ONE drink away from a drunk. So just because I have a few years under my belt doesn't mean a thing. I'm just like a person with a few hours sober. I could get drunk at any time. The only reason I'm sober is due to the people here and my Higher Power whom I choose to call God. But don't worry, I won't Bible thump. LOL.
So to any newcomers out there, PLEASE don't be afraid to jump in, cause as I said before ~ we are ALL THE SAME. We're just here to support one another and perhaps to cry on each others shoulders but preferably to give each others some strength and HOPE! Together, we CAN do this!!
