Hi there, I've been searching all over the internet trying to find something to match my symptoms. This site has some threads that are a little similar, so I thought I'd ask if anybody here has heard of this. I have been feeling sluggish for about 2-3 months, having tightness in my upper shoulders and neck, then sore shoulder muscles for about 24 hours. I finally realized it is always after eating. I have had cardio tests, allergy tests, an upper scope, all my tests are normal. The GI says it doesn't sound like gallbladder because it is upper back and neck, but I'm having an ultrasound tomorrow. He doesn't expect to find anything. I have started trying to weed certain foods out, and it has come down to always a couple of hours after I eat cheese by itself, I get dizzy, then all the aches. I don't think it is milk products, because I have eaten other things with milk and don't have the symptoms. Just cheese. If I avoid it, I will feel good for a couple of days, then out of the blue eat something else that sets it off. When I check ingredients, I alwaywy find "color" or "annatto" (which is a color). So I figured it was that, and shopped carefully, felt good for a couple of days, then ate corn chips (supposedly organic with no colors or flavors) and had the same symptoms, just not as bad. Has anybody ever heard of having an intolerance to just yellow food??? All my doctors say the symptoms don't really match anything. I'm thinking about maybe a nutritionist? Has anybody else had any symptoms matching this?

Hi, just wanted to welcome you to BT. I don't know anything about yellow food coloring however. You might post on different forums & see what replies you get.

Also, many of us have eye issues,if you'd hit the enter button & break up your post it might help other's to read it.

Good luck with the test today, keep searching for answers! Maybe it's in your spine? Are you keeping a journal of symptoms? That might help.

Thanks for the welcome, this is the first forum I've been on. I did an on-line survey, everything points to allergies, even though I've had all negative tests. I'm still thinkin food intolerance, even though the doctors act like I'm nuts!

I don't think it's my spine, since it's just after I eat certain foods, but I'm trying to rule out everything. Had the ultrasound this morning, will get results soon, but probably nothing.

Thanks again.

Hi again, you might benefit from trying a gluten free diet. We have a forum here with alot of information.

Also, have you ever tried trigger point therapy?

Doctor's often make us feel like we are nuts,so you're not alone on that!
