Okay, I've been telling you about this pain in my groin for a while and how
the doctors don't really know what's causing it, but that it doesn't seem
to be spinal related.

Well, this afternoon, my father tells me he's having pain in the right groin
(mine's on the left) and his description is the same as mine!

Now, he doesn't have hydro, but he does have degenerative disc disease
in his spine and neck.

So, if it's not spinal related (according to the doctors) and it's not hydro
related (he doesn't have hydro), then what the H--- is it?!?!

Gina

My mom had the same problem. They did a full work up and couldn't find the source. She saw her NS a few weeks back and said it was from the degeneration of her disks. Hope you get some relief soon.

Well, I had a procedure that took care of the pain in my lower back, but
I've still got the groin pain. I do have a follow-up appointment with the
pain management doctor next week, so I'll see what he says then. I
don't know what my father's going to do, though.

I doubt it because I need 2 hands for that, and one of them is using
the cane to help me stand up. Sometimes, even the cane isn't enough.

It would help if I could breathe, too.

I hate myself for saying this..... But I am remembering something you had said about your brother and sister-in-law.... Maybe you can move in with them so you can recoup.

Look at it this way, you'll have time to recouperate and fresh air to breathe and you woun't be spending a fortune on your nebulizer meds! :) And you woun't be doing mounds of housework every single day.

The only thing I can see that is a problem is the location of your dotor(s) and your brother, but heck, if both are in the same state............

I feel bad for you. You deserve the right to have a life and be able to live it without anyone telling you what you should or shouldn't do and to BREATHE.

Take care, I am still reading.

Well, my brother's got 3 kids, so his house is kind of crowded. Besides,
I'd really love to live by myself. After living here for 40 years, I could
really use the peace and quiet, as well as the fresh air. JMO
