Anybody else?

'apparently can be caused by some drugs that are our staple - Anti-D and Anti Epilepsy, read mood stabilizer. Beta-blockers don't help.

Benzoes help 'though.

My husband has this. It is so much worse than anything I could have imagined hearing about it. He takes "mirapex". Has helped us both as now he can sleep.

This happened to my son when he was still taking zyprexa and on the higher dose. The higher dose was very necessary at the time, and he was placed on .5mg of klonopin per night and it slowed them down a bit, but did not stop them. After about 3 weeks he stopped the ultra rapid mood swings and we dropped him back down to his normal dose and they completely stopped.

I hope they get better for you soon.

Simply as a restless insomniac I don't know if i can fully appreciate the situation, but i have also skipped strong benzo doses and... voila... i don't know if it is clinically as severe as RLS, but taking en (a benzo) did help. when i figured out that was it.

I wish you speedy recovery, and its good to see you back :)

Don't have any help for you, sorry :(, but I had to share my experiences with you all, as the 'agrieved party' :D...My husband had RLS for awhile, and he shook the bed so badly that I couldn't sleep, but he slept right thru them!!. He had his meds changed in 2003, and he's never had them again. Now, however, it's his snoring that keeps me up sometimes . That's what happens when you're married for 31+ years, I guess :D
