After the year I had in 2007, I have decided to think and CLAIM that "Things will be great in 2008!" I invite you to join me. Let's start a MOVEMENT! People that are going to think and act positively. Send our messsage world wide. We are NOT gonna take any more bad. Just GREAT!!!! When someone start to say something negitive ,just hold up your hand and stop them,and say "Things will be great in 2008" and stop the negitivity! Make the person repat after you" Things will be great in 2008"And pass it on.....:rolleyes:

MamaRider I am with you and a positive approach has helped me get through all these years. It is tough though because my wife is just the opposite and sees everything from a negative perspective. While I see the possibilities she sees all the bad things that could happen. But like you I am only going to accept that 2008 will be great.

Kathi, you have the Indy region as I am only able to make sure I approach 2008 as a great year. I will try to spread it but my range is very limited any more:D .
I will take care of southern Indiana.

positive thinking goes a long ways. Looking back I had no idea how negative I was at some of my worst moments......It takes allot of focus to be positive but it really can havbe an effect on your over-all well being, pain levels and just how people react to you all around.

I agree with you things will be great in 2008!! The power of positive thinking!! Okay so Mark and Kathi have Indiana covered so I will pick up Central and Southern Florida. I will need help with northern Florida, LOL!!

Maybe to add some fun to this we can see how many states we can get covered in the spirit. He goes the list. This could be alot of fun guys!!

I have been a positive person even when I knew the out come was going to be bad. But now I just can't see any positive in my life and none to come either. There is a reason God is doing this to me. I may never know why. But I do beleave that there is a reason for every thing. Sorry you all I don't see any thing positive in the come year. I have alway heard if it starts of great will end great. Start off bad end bad. And last year started off bad ended bad.

things will be great in 08 , i have the most wonderful woman in my life now , i have love i am getting back intouch with my boys i have my drivers liceance back , depresion seems to be a thing of the past ( as long as i keep up with the treatments) , i have a new truck we are buying a house and the lsit goes on but MOST OF ALL I AM GRATEFUL FOR IS MY FIANCEE SANDRA SH SAVED MY LIFE , i was circling the drain and she pulled me out didnt judge me,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Dave

Don't stop giving her things don't stop saying I love you. Keep your love a live. I know it will be hard at times but keep it going. It is so good to hear someone in love. Deb i know what your going thru so i plan on exactly what you ask me to do i treat everyday as it would or could be our last so first thing in the am i say " i love you " and also during the day i say " did i tell you i love you ?" knowing i did and at night its the very last words out of my lips , just so you know i have been married once before and i did the same with her but she didnt and in time i knew she didnt love me , when we mey some 9 months ago it was love at first sight for us so yes i can promise i will always treat her as i do now ,,,,,, deb i am so sorry to here what it is your going thru that is tough so may god be with you ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Dave

Deb, her is an example of when it starts bad doesn't end up that way. Our football team was play a team that never had lost a play-off game in their own stadium and we had to travel for 3.5 hours to play them. We start the game and after the first three series we were down 0-21 with gaining only 3 yards in three series. We continued to fight the whole game and ended up winning 28-21 and went the next weekend and won the State Championship. This was a team that was 4-7 the year before and next to last in our conference. So you see it can get better if you believe that it can get better.

I hope you find out by your experience that things can get much better. My marriage is much better than last year even though my wife still has her moments like she did yesterday. You are just in a bad condition in your marriage right now and you will have to come to a resolution in it to make things better for you. By the way, you gave Dave good advice about marriage but sometimes your partner doesn't return the favor to you.
