Michelle Obama's father had Multiple Sclerosis. It would be nice to have someone in the white house who knew what MS was, especially having experienced it first hand. I think she would be a great advocate for MS, raising awareness for it, and helping in governmental research funding for this horrible disease.

What a jerk! His wife has this horrible illness and he "believes that embryonic stem cell research should not be funded by the government." I'd hate to be a fly on the wall at their house when this topic comes up. I bet someone there sleeps on the sofa an awful lot. (serves him right!!!!)
