Flax Seed

I have a question.

My UC has been under control for several years.
about a month ago I started taking Flax Seed in the mornings mixed with my serial to get more fiber in my diet. I felt that this was a natural way to help my constipation.
I then started getting a lot of bleeding.

Q ~ Is this bleeding a result of the Flax Seed and should I refrain from using it?

I researched it on the web and couldn't find anything on this.

Any suggestions?

hey randy!

i use a lot of flaxseed, sprinkled on lots of things like yogurt, english muffins etc. i haven't encountered the problem you are having.

i would see your doctor about anykind of bleeding, even if your uc has been under control, please.
