Gravity of the situation
It is tough to realize the gravity of the situation
So much to absorb, then concern & anticipation
We may be miles apart, different lives and faces
But we join here as one, due to “Annie’s” traces
On occasion I sit here and read your threads
As we chat about the “Annie‘s” in our heads
Support each other, with our ration of wisdom
Identify with what each other has to overcome
Appreciative to have a place where others know
Hard for others to grasp, what you cannot show
They cannot see this absurd transformation inside
“Annie” is very clever and she knows how to hide
We are learning how to find her and triumph
Come to recognize that we have had enough
We have each other to lean on and learn from
It’s been a long road from where we’ve come
Come together here so we can try to understand
This enemy within, who try’s to take command
We know here, we’re not without help anymore
Drawn here for supportive words, so much more
We can get through this together somehow
Support each other to get through the now
Try to learn patients, just let ourselves heal
We have been through a tremendous ordeal
Thank you for sharing your chronicle’s with us
All of your expressions, have help me to adjust
This new pathway, we can journey along together
Make new memoirs here that will help us recover

(rupture survivor 7/05) Hard to believe it has
been 2 years already?? I am Still in recovery but,
getting there day by day! God bless you all & the
wonderful friends I have made here!!! XOXOXO

don’t forget to pray for our Troop’s, Fire, EMS, Police, Dr’s
and everyone out there risking their lives to save others!!!
