This IS GREAT!!! ...watch and listen!
If you have a minute, please watch the following video clip it is a beautiful story of Johnny, the grocery store bagger.
It is very short, but it will remind you of why and how we make an impact in what we do.
You may even want to share it with others, and I hope you will. Make Their Day, too!
It's amazing how one young Down's Syndrome bagger made such a wonderful impact on those customers
lucky enough to have Johnny bag their groceries!!!

In RDI language, Johnny was creating episodic memories and emotion sharing. Which he could do, because he did not have autism.

The genuineness of what he did, was more fulfilling than the best promotion that could have been thought up by a room full of the brightest college grads.

I have 2 baggers I go out of my way to be in the line of, at the stores I shop. They tell the same story almost every time, one is DS. Just that they try to connect with me is so flattering, they both seem to like me which is even more flattering. They make me feel so special and lucky. I too go to their line every time. It was awesome, one time a manager opened a new register and waved me on to move over, when I didn't move he came to me to tell me to come over, I said no, he said why, I said "Cause I want THAT bagger again, she's wonderful".

There's an intelligence only those that value the feelings of others have. Ya know? All the other stuff (like smooshed food in my bag) is majorly overlookable. How often do I or does anyone get to be around folks that really give a crap, truely and genuinely. Ya know?

Ahhhhhh! Why are my kids up - grrrr - gotta fly.
