I need to get my hands on a weighted pencil (covering or some such as that). Does anyone have one they are not using anymore that I can buy from you, or know of an inexpensive resource? I found one on E-bay but it was almost $20.00 and I was hoping to get by for less than that.....

Thanks everyone,

Mayzoo

Ps yes this ot recommended :-) I had never heard of this before...

this is the pencil weights I've liked best. So far. This looks like a set including some other things (like pencils...well..hmm. I can buy #2pencils)

but it does have five weights for 20.00. the weights are metal and heavy and you can adjust where on the pencil you place it (it has "O" rings to hold it in place) and you can put two on a pencil for extra weight. Thet are hexagonal so the pencil doesn't roll away when you lay it down.

the only thing that was a problem for us was I had to guard it like crazy because DS throws stuff impulsively. not funny.

Yes, we fund out of pocket. She has her own medical policy we pay 400.00 a month for (long story due to all her dx's). This policy help to pay for the OT and the ST, but when it comes to therapy products we buy them ourselves.

Thanks for the link!

well, it's not less than twenty dollars. But if you find weighted pencils helpful (they usually are) I would say 5 of these wts at $4.00@ is worth it. They're indestructible...and stay in place on the pencil well.
