Yesterday at church, a friend of ours brought the program from her daughter's college graduation the day before. The daughter is majoring in OT and still has to complete her master's, but they have a bachelor's degree graduation. She chose to complete a research project for extra hours, and her topic was "Developing social skills in students with Asperger's and High-functioning autism." It was listed on the graduation program. She did a paper on autism a few years back and interviewed me, and has always known Keith through church and school. It created an interest, and she has maintained that interest!!
It really touched me that she was influenced by us to make this part of her major. Hopefully she'll go on to help lots of kids!!!!
