Yesterday Allie brought a little newsletter home from school. When I took it out of her backpack to look at it, she ran over and turned it to her classroom's page to show me! This was especially nice to me because not only does she seldom share things with me (other than wants and needs), but she's usually oblivious to any notices sent home from school. Not only did she find the pages for her classroom, she pointed out her picture and where her name appeared on the pages. Cool, cool, cool.

Oh, that's awesome!!! :) Allie is completely aware.
my boy care less what was going in his school, but hey the siblings were screaming that he was in the newspaper, so perhaps he relied on them to tell the news...?

Pretty cool!

The classroom teacher at Sierra's school sends a daily "what we did" report, with a list of the activities, and how she did (she's been doing great over the past 8 months). When she was really in her rottenest last year, she used to hide the daily report from me at the bottom of her backpack. If I found it, she would grab it and go toss it in the trash. I always thought that was pretty funny, considering how much I wanted to throttle her at the time:rolleyes:

That is so so so joyful to read. If that's not 'seeking to share' I dunno what is. Wow, that is so totally right on, that must have been a great moment for you both.

Really really cool news, just beautiful.

Awesome! Those are the kind of memories that can carry you through the bad times... remember it if you need an extra chrismas cheer-up this year!
