Hi All,
I have a question about cramping..Does anyone get cramps that lock your arm up or twists it until it releases..Also has anyone got cramps in the neck and have twitching in the neck too..I also get cramps in the stomach, ribs, chest area, sides and sometimes back..Also do you get cramps in the bottom of the feet when walking alot..I have a crushed disc in the back so not sure if it is from that..
I would really appreciate any feed back on this subject..
Thanks and have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I get cramps all the time all over the place - especially when I am tightening a muscle that is already weakened. It's interesting to hear of another getting cramps in the chest area. I get tired and need rest after sitting up for a while holding my head/stomach in an isometric position.

Hi Russ,
Do you get cramps in the neck..When I do its hard to swallow.. Have to rub the neck..Afraid I won't be able to breathe..Can the dr. give you anything for it..I drink tonic water and use to take quinine..just ordered some quinine from canada..Doesn't happen all the time but damn they hurt..
Thanks Russ and Merry Christmas

Hi Russ & DeeDee - I also get cramps all over the place, arms, thigh, ribs, bottom of my feet, and at times under my chin if that is what you mean by neck DeeDee. Those really hurt! I have not tried taking anything for them or for pain up until this point, but at time it really makes you catch your breath - I usually have to stop whatever I am doing and try and stretch out the afflicted muscle if possible.
Happy Holidays!!

Hi DeeDee, Thanks for your reply on the EMG subject. I do not get neck cramps, chest cramps, rib or back cramps. I have been getting abdominal ( center and both sides ) cramps since about 1986. I also get hand, arm ( no arm lock up, though ),leg and feet cramps. My bottom of the feet cramps only happen when I am sitting ( not walking--strange, I guess? ). I used to twitch all over from time to time ( can't remember neck twiches ) but not as much any more. Hope this helps!

Can, Cheermom and Russ,
Thank you all for your replies..That information helps..To know others experience it too makes you feel that your not alone..
Cheermom the cramps under the chin just started for me..I have been having some twitching in the neck but the cramps just started there..
My airway is half closed and not sure what that is from..With 3 or more things going on that all can cause that to happen drs. just don't know..
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years..
Thank you again.

I get cramps all the time and used to take qunine as well.
I keep an Omni-Roller handy, and it helps deal with the cramps.
