Alzheimer's Chat Room

[Chat Moderator #1]

Hi everyone. I just wantd to let everyone know that I made the Alzheimer's Chat room a couple of weeks ago.
So whenever John gets around to doing the updates for us, the room is already there for you.

I certainly hope it is soon, Mike's room is nice, but just not the same as our own BT FlashChat. If this drags on much longer maybe I can talk to Mike and see if it is ok with him to make an Alzheimer's Chat room there.

We just keep hoping every week will be the week that John will have time to do the updates and then it doesn't happen again. :confused:

Please hang on and hope it will be done soon.

If anyone sees JL around the Boston area, please take him by the hand and lead him to the Hasty Pastry building and lock him in there until the updates are done and chat will be up and running again. LOL :eek:

Thank you for all your help. I, for one, really appreciate all that John Lester has done for this site and am reluctant to put any pressure or demands on him. He knows where we are, how much we rely on the forum and how important it is. In order to be effective, he must live his own life, making time for family and his own needs. It is simply too destructive to work constantly, no matter how noble the cause. Cheerio.

I want to thank you too, CM#1. I know you have been working on this every chance you had.

I have been thinking about ways to make a Chat that will work for all of us. the time factor is there, but maybe we can work around it. In Classic Chat we had a member from Australia. She worked her own times, managing to come often enough for all to know dear old Rosie!! I wish she were still around. lol

I think we all appreciate what John L. does for us. He has provited a service some of us needed very much. Me being one.!

Tootsie, I also appreciate the help you leave here. You and Betty were lifesavers for me. thank you.

CM#1, we are willing to wait especially if we know for sure things will return as they were. I know you don't get paid either,but Don't Put Yourself Down! You are more than "just a chatroom mod"!!
You are our friend and sometimes we get kind of hard to live with.
