I've had a lot of friends and family members ask me if there is anything they can get me for Christmas that will make things easier for me. I thought it might be fun and interesting to do a thread for a leaker's Christmas wish list (these don't have to be items that are actually available, they can be something that you wish would be invented).
Here's mine:
Gopher reaching tool to help me pick up laundry from the floor.
Machine that will put my shoes on and tie them for me.
A bench for my shower so that I can sit down and shave my legs.

Bear in mind that my list consists of things that a SPOUSE of a leaker would like to have - LOL
My wish list:
"seam sealer" glue (the kind your waterproof your tent seams with) and a large-bore needle ...:D
one year (or more) pre-paid 'subscription' to a masseuse
a maid
a cook
anti-whatever drugs (anxiety, stress, pain, nerves, worry ...)
patience
unlimited funds for medical expenses
extra unlimited funds for leaky friends' medical expenses
AND last but not least ......
Permanent Irreversible HEALING !!! *fairies

#1 I think we all need and wish for a doctor who really understands what it is like and will stick with us!
#2 One full day of doing what I want without paying for it physically.
#3 A day (or better, the rest of my life) feeling normal again
#4 new technology to find these leaks
#5 a permanent fix
The best to all of you and a wonderful holiday season

Joking aside for a bit ... my prayer for everyone here this Christmas is the same simple petition, HEALING!
I believe Christ brought us our very first opportunity for healing with his birth 2042 years ago. And while we all need healing for different ailments; we all need! His birth brings hope to a world that is grasping at so many elusive or illusive 'hope-bearers', yet I believe that Christ is the hope of the world and in Him there is healing.
I do not think you can pray away a leak, or anything else that ails you. However, I do believe that through prayer you can receive strength for each minute of each day, peace that surpasses pain, patience through a long journey to wellness, and perspective to see the positives despite the negatives!
God Bless!

All I want for Christmas is a whole new dura! That's not asking too much is it?
Wishing you all the very best, and hoping and praying we all have a better year in 2010!
